Globisens Labdisc Wins the Worlddidac 2012 Award for Innovation and Pedagogic Value

After only a few months since it’s release, the Labdisc Gensci with GlobiLab software has won the Worlddidac Award, the most recognized international prize in the education sector.

The award is presented every two years to innovative and pedagogically valuable products with a high potential to improve learning or teaching.
The Labdisc and GlobiLab software were intensively evaluated by an international jury of education experts and educators for the period of an entire week, following which the product was presented to the 12 jurors by video conference.

The criteria of evaluation include overall quality, safety, eco-friendliness, pedagogic value, ease-of-use, aesthetics, handbook quality, degree of realism in software, multi-functionality, adaptability, design innovation, pedagogical innovation, technological innovation, degree of interactivity and performance/cost ratio.

Mrs. Tamar Antakol, VP Sales at Globisens, who presented the product to the jury told us “The jury recognized the revolutionary contribution the Labdisc has made to experiencing science in schools. They clearly were impressed by the all-in-one nature of the wireless data logger solution with up to 14 built-in probes; cutting 1.5 hours on an average Lab setup time.
